Collecting Art on Paper
At the Fair visitors have the opportunity to look at many kinds of art
on paper from different ages and are able to talk to many art specialists,
before making a choice.
Art on paper presents an Aladdin’s cave of opportunity for the
first time art buyer and the seasoned art collector. Frequently artworks
on paper by internationally renowned artists, for example Rembrandt
or Jim Dine, may be picked up at an art fair such as the SAPF.
Art on paper is at the same time, durable and fragile, spontaneous
and considered; it is transportable and often very affordable.
Preservation Australia will be present at the Art on Paper Fair in Sydney. Kay Söderlund will be available to provide free conservation advice. Special offers will be available only at the Fair including polyester sleeves – the preferred material to preserve & store artworks.
