Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, 's-Hertogenbosch, majoringin Printmaking.

Masters Degree Fine Arts, Sydney University, Thesis on Dada

Assistant to Director of Galerie d'Eendt, Amsterdam.

• Organising of exhibitions of paintings, prints and sculpture by Dutch and international artists;
• Participation in art fairs such as: Basle Art Fair, Düsseldorf Art Fair, Cologne and Amsterdam.

1974	Transfer to Melbourne, Australia; 1975: transfer to Sydney
1980-88	Manager of Stadia Graphics Gallery in Sydney, one of the first and foremostgalleries in Australia to specialise in Works on Paper
1988	Established Akky van Ogtrop Fine Arts, specialising in Works on Paper by19th and 20th Century Masters, as well as contemporary Australian and internationalartists
1989	Established International Works on Paper Fair (IWOPF) in Sydney. This Fairwas held in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1997, and continues as a bi-annualArt Fair. The next IWOPF will be held from 21 July - 25 July 1999 in theByron Kennedy Hall, Fox Studios, Moore Park, Sydney
1993	Participated in the first International Art Fair Directors Symposium, organisedby the KunstRai in Amsterdam. The theme "Art Fairs in the Art World".
1994	ACAF Melbourne.
1993-98	KunstRai Amsterdam.
